हम हर शहर से अजनबी हैं
रुकते बस कभी कभी हैं
हम हर शहर से अजनबी हैं।
गुल खिलते, मुरझा जाते हैं
सब खाक़ के हमनशीं हैं।
ख़्वाबों से भी गायब वो
ख़ूबसूरत माहज़बीं हैं।
नहीं हमारा हक़ लेकिन
जन्नत में कमी नहीं है।
हम हर शहर से अजनबी हैं।
